Launched in 1963, NEW YORK won the Danish Design Award in 1966. The award is Denmark’s highest design honor. The jury chose the set for “its clarity of line, whose form is decoration in itself.”
Henning Koppel, who trained as a sculptor, is responsible for some of Georg Jensen’s most popular designs through the years. He is considered one of the master designers of the post World War II period and his work gave us some of the most prominent examples of golden era Scandinavian design.
A timeless design dedicated to a cosmopolitan city.
The set contains six each of the dinner spoon, dinner fork, long grill dinner knife and tea spoon and is perfect for regular, daily use.
